Azazi Out, Dasuki In.....

The escalation of activities by the Islamic terrorist sect, Boko Haram, has led to a massive purge in the security services with the National Security Adviser, Gen. Andrew Owoeye Aziza and the minister of Defence being shown the way out by President Jonathan.

In place of Azazi, Retirked Col. Sambo Dasuki has been appointed the new NSA. Dasuki is son to the former Sultan of Sokoto who was removed by the late maximum ruler, Sani Abacha. In the 90s, Sambo had served as Chief Security Officer to the Sultan of Brunei, once the world's richest man. He is a Fulani and has held many important security portfolios including being ADC to former military President, Ibrahim Babangida.
The President who had taken the opportunity of his recent trip to Brazil to engage in deep sober reflection on the escalating activities of the Boko Haram sect returned to the country today at about 11 am and after resting called a marathon emergency security meeting where he brainnstormed with senior government officials including the Vice President on the way out of the incessant security challenges caused by the group Boko Haram.
President Jonathan is keen to nip the security challenges posed by Boko Haram in the bud and NaijaPundit will keep you updated.
